Got out the weights- Pt 2

Thankfully, yesterday was a day off from the weights!  I knew it would happen- the price I pay for not regularly working out.  By Monday night the thighs were screaming and aspirin was the evening cocktail of choice.  This is why I detest squats and lunges.  It’s always a delicate choice between thunder thighs and a sagging butt, and pain. OK, I know it wouldn’t be that way if I did this more often but…

Anyway, did 3 reps of each activity today and didn’t die- cried, winced, grimaced (does this count as facial toning?).  Still not exactly enjoying the program but feel better about my efforts.  Tomorrow- the pedometer. I will make it to 5,000 steps!
